What you'll be doing…
As News Writer (Solved), you'll pitch and write multiple unique daily news pieces for Homes & Gardens to optimise against and increase traffic through Google News and Discover, as well as Social and Partnerships channels (eg Apple News). You'll work alongside the social media editor and team to translate news content onto relevant social platforms, including first-person video and stills.
You'll combine ecommerce opportunities alongside news-led content to support revenue and traffic goals, work as part of a team producing news traffic and collaborate to learn from experiences and skills of others, and monitor news traffic opportunities for the sites and ensure content can be created quickly and effectively to maximise that opportunity. You'll also create and update content over key commercial events Black Friday, Boxing Day sales and attend key industry events.

The expected salary for this role is up to £26,000.
This is a Hybrid role from our London Paddington Office, working three days from the office, two from home.
