Salary: GBP40000 - GBP55000 per annum

Are you a dedicated Mental Health Solicitor looking for your next opportunity in a supportive and forward-thinking firm? We are working with a reputable law firm in Shropshire seeking a passionate solicitor to join their expanding Mental Health Law team.

Job Role:

1. Handling a caseload of Mental Health Act matters, including tribunal representation and hospital managers’ hearings.
2. Advising and representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.
3. Advocating for clients at Mental Health Tribunals and ensuring the best possible outcomes.
4. Engaging with hospitals, families, and other professionals to provide expert legal support.
5. Staying up to date with developments in Mental Health Law and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job requirements:

1. Qualified Solicitor with experience in Mental Health Law.
2. Member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Accreditation Scheme (or working towards accreditation).
3. Strong advocacy skills with experience representing clients at tribunals.
4. Excellent communication and client care skills, with a compassionate approach.
5. Ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently.
