Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will conduct planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, at our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
