The University of Manchester is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Lecturer in Pharmacy Practice to join the Division of Pharmacy & Optometry. This position is to cover maternity leave, and we are open to a job share arrangement for part-time hours.
The successful candidate will teach and assess undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, develop curriculum, and engage in leadership activities related to professional pharmacy practice. Responsibilities include delivering webinars, seminars, tutorials, and workshops, designing learning materials, assessing course units, supervising student projects, and providing academic guidance.
Essential criteria include a good undergraduate Pharmacy degree (2:1 or higher), registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council or Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland, and experience in teaching and assessing students at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels. Candidates should have excellent IT, time management, and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
