Ascend Airways operate a small fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft (NG and MAX) in the ACMI market, opening its first operational base at London Gatwick early 2024. We are in search of a Planning and Technical Records Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bishops Stortford, UK.
The maintenance planning and technical records Engineer is a key position, serving the primary purpose of scheduling maintenance at both line and base facilities and control of returned paperwork. This multifunctional role will suit applicants with an analytical mind, high levels of attention to detail and a hard-working ethos.
Responsibilities
- Production of a rolling line maintenance plan for the Ascend Airways Fleet, liaising with Maintenance controllers and 3rd party P145’s to ensure maintenance requirements are achievable.
- Ensure any specialist tooling and/or 3rd party services (NDT, aircraft cleaning etc) are available when required.
- Monitor aircraft forecasts daily and ensures that all requirements are planned and accomplished within the necessary AMP and/or regulatory limitations and in conjunction with operational schedules.
- Liaison with subcontracted maintenance planning services, maintaining visibility of scheduled line & base maintenance requirements.
- Liaison with logistics to ensure all requirements are available as planned.
- Liaise with maintenance control to ensure all deferred defects or unscheduled maintenance requests are planned and accomplished.
- Liaise with the operations department to ensure aircraft utilisation and routing allows for planned maintenance to be accomplished.
- Prepare and distribute work orders to the station controllers ensuring all maintenance documentation is made available.
- Auditing of completed/returned maintenance paperwork.
The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:
- Min 5 years experience in CAMO or P145 planning role
- Previous experience on Boeing Aircraft desirable
- Understanding of CAMO process and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Application, Excel & My Boeing Fleet.
