The ideal candidate will have:
- A hands-on mentality combined with a creative mindset, comfortable interpreting data with the ability to grasp the various aspects of content distribution strategies across different business units and client segments.
- The ability to deploy marketplace tools and technology driven by our short- and longer-term goals and clear customer benefit, based on our Amex GBT supplier value proposition and strategy.
What You'll Do
- Perform in-depth data analysis leading to the development and execution of air content campaigns that support the Amex GBT Marketplace Partner’s value proposition, including NDC content distribution.
- Collaborate effectively with team managers on analysis, support & implementation, and execute on the supplier strategy.
- Conduct daily audits of running EDIFACT and NDC support activities to ensure accuracy and traction.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and report on SNAP tickets related to content & pricing discrepancies (including NDC) reported by Travel Counselors, CGMs, and support teams.
- Assist other teams with PCC and Client NDC activations and implementations.
- Ensure quality assurance with all online & offline booking tools to support Amex GBT’s Marketplace Partners.
- Build strong relationships with Global Revenue Management (GRM) & other teams such as Traveler Care & Global Travel Technologies.
- Support Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA) on prioritized business requirements & functional specifications related to Marketplace health, driving them to completion with product teams.
This role may involve international travel. Due to the global nature of this role, some flexibility in working hours is required. Candidates can be EU-based or NA-East Coast-based.
What We're Looking For
- In-depth knowledge of at least two, preferably all three GDS Systems, with expertise in Amadeus GDS expected. Sabre and Online Booking Tool knowledge are pluses.
- Experience in using Excel databases, creating pivots, and manipulating large data sets.
- A strong understanding of air content distribution, including NDC, online retailing, and travel economics.
- Ability to learn new industry trends and related opportunities for Amex GBT.
- Ability to learn multiple complex Amex GBT tools and adapt to change.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), fluency in English, and strong presentation skills.
Excellent organizational and planning skills, capable of managing multiple projects with attention to detail.
