The Role

We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated, and skilled Trade Floor Application Support Analyst to join our Asset Management Business Technology Solutions team. The successful candidate will support various financial applications including BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, and Microsoft Excel. They should have an understanding of these systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train end-users.

Key Responsibilities

Technical

• Provide support for trading platforms: BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, LSEG Workspace, AWS, Lipper, BT Turrets, file transfer, and Microsoft Excel.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Manage application access.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.

Operational

• Collaborate with end-users to understand needs and provide solutions.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Proactively seek automation opportunities for system and service improvements.

Experience (Essential)

• Experience in Financial Services / Asset Management.
• Knowledge of trade floor applications: BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, AWS/Azure, Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to troubleshoot, resolve issues, and train end-users.
• Experience leading a technical area with a focus on delivering high-quality, responsive IT services.

Technical Capability

• Supporting BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, DTCC, Morningstar, Microsoft Excel, AWS, or Azure; certifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of financial markets and trading processes.
• Awareness of digital workplace strategies and Microsoft MMD.

Personal Attributes

• Proactive, anticipating system and process improvements.
• Effective in managing unexpected situations and problems.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, influencing, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

Qualifications

Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
