Senior/Lead Backend Engineer - Up to £100k+ Benefits - UK

To apply: Ref - 5365800. My client is looking for a Senior/Lead Backend Engineer to join their mobile game studio and work on an up and coming battle royale style project. The salary on offer is up to £85k + Bonuses + Benefits (depending on the candidate). This can provide relocation assistance if needed.

The client is looking for you to bring a fresh take to design/developing microservice architectures. You will also be expected to maintain backend systems using Kotlin/Java and have a good understanding of databases such as NoSQL. Additionally, you will be expected to develop game backend architectures, player interactions, and handle high load scenarios.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a similar position and possess some of the following skills:

• Several years’ experience working with Java, Python, Kotlin, C++, or C#
• Worked/released at least 1 title on console/PC
• Experience with cloud infrastructures on game services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
