Position: Sous Chef

Location: The Partridge, Stretton, Cheshire

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £35,000 per annum, plus equal shares of gratuity and participation in our annual bonus scheme.

Start date:- Immediately

About the Role:

As a Sous Chef at The Partridge, Stretton, you will play a pivotal role in our kitchen team, collaborating closely with the head chef to design, refine, and bring to life our seasonal menus. Your creativity will shine as you contribute to innovative dish development that delights our guests and showcases the best local ingredients.

Key responsibilities include:

- Menu Development: Assist the head chef in crafting exciting and diverse seasonal menus that reflect our commitment to quality and culinary excellence.

- Kitchen Management: Take charge of kitchen operations on the head chefs days off, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of culinary professionals, fostering an environment of teamwork and enthusiasm.

- Health and Safety Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, food hygiene, and operational procedures daily.

- Training and Development: Mentor and train junior staff members, helping them grow their skills and advance in their culinary careers.
