A leading charity in the North West is seeking a Night Care Worker to provide care and support to young people with complex needs. This role involves working overnight shifts, attending to the needs of children, and ensuring a safe and caring environment. The position offers a competitive salary, generous benefits, and opportunities for training and development.
We have a vacancy for a Night Care Worker to be part of our experienced team, working alone overnight with support from a sleeping-in colleague. Each shift lasts 10 hours, and we are seeking someone to work 3 shifts per week on a rota basis.
Location: Together Trust Children’s Respite Home in Cheadle Hulme, Stockport
Salary: £19,760.00 per year, pro-rated from a full-time salary of £24,700.00 per year.
Salary enhancement: 25% uplift on hourly rate for weekend shifts and between 11pm and 6am on weekdays.
Shifts will be flexible throughout the week, including weekends, on a rotational basis. You must be willing to work unsociable night hours, following the shift pattern, and cover for annual leave and sickness when needed.

You will work under the leadership of the Registered Manager, providing care, love, and support to young people as if in a family home.
About the position:
The core tasks include attending to the needs of young people during the night, managing some with complex health conditions, domestic duties, and record keeping.
You will attend staff meetings, supervision, and training, including a willingness to undertake a QCF qualification, possibly working day shifts occasionally for evidence gathering.
