Job description

Adecco are recruiting for a maintenance Engineer for a global client based in Northampton.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in maintenance activities and support operations directly or through integrators.
  2. Report system issues internally to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. Assist with the installation and deployment of new systems or machines.
  4. Respond swiftly to emergency situations, coordinating additional assistance as necessary.
  5. Collaborate with the design team (R&D) to address specific maintenance issues.
  6. Propose improvements to maintenance procedures and processes.
  7. Provide technical support to integrators and field maintenance teams as required.

What We're Looking For:

  1. A Master's degree or equivalent in engineering is required.
  2. Some experience in a robotics-related role is preferred.
  3. A broad understanding of software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
  4. Capable of tackling a variety of tasks, from mechanical troubleshooting to robotic software configuration.
  5. Strong competencies in robotic design and configuration.
  6. A problem-solving mindset and a high level of autonomy.
  7. Excellent communication skills to engage with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
