Senior or Principal Geoarchaeology Consultant | Expression Of Interest, Oxford

Stantec UK is seeking experienced geoarchaeologists to join as Senior or Principal Consultants across our UK offices, with a preference for Reading. This role involves providing technical advice, conducting field investigations, delivering complex reports, and working on water, highways, and infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver archaeological and geoarchaeological consultancy services for schemes requiring planning consent, EIA, or DCO. Responsibilities include reviewing geological data, conducting site visits, liaising with stakeholders, and managing archaeological fieldwork.

About You

• Motivated individual with strong knowledge of UK archaeological science and legislation
• Experience in consultancy, report writing, and GIS (preferred)
• Geoarchaeological fieldwork experience
• Membership of CIfA at Associate level or higher
• Full clean UK driver’s license
