Nursery: Bright Horizons Maidenhead Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary: Starting from £24,270.90- £25,200 per annum (full time equivalent, dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Location: Maidenhead, SL6

We are looking for a part-time , Level 2 or above qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Maidenhead Day Nursery and Preschool, situated in Maidenhead, just a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station, and has onsite parking. This role is working Tuesday- Thursday, 8/9am-1pm.

The nursery is a beautiful, 93 place purpose-built setting which opened in 2019. It has 5 spacious and well-equipped rooms including a baby sensory area, and areas specifically for art, construction play and a reading corner. All rooms have access to the large garden area including a patio area which is often used for messy play. This nursery is proudly Ofsted rated 'Good'.

What you’ll be doing

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.

• Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships

• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

• Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment

What we’re looking for

• Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)

• Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)

• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child

• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents

• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
