The College has over 13,000 members worldwide, primarily doctors and scientists in hospitals and universities across the UK.
It oversees training in 17 pathology specialties, including cellular pathology, haematology, clinical biochemistry, and medical microbiology. Many pathologists work directly with patients, contributing to diagnoses, disease prevention, treatment, and monitoring.
