What you will do:
- Manage enterprise programmes of work, comprising sub-projects and large delivery teams, to address control gaps and reduce the Bank's risk profile. Provide assurance and guidance to Project Managers.
- Collaborate with senior leaders including the FC Director, Director of Business Risk, and IT to deliver end-to-end change through the project lifecycle, often across multiple sub-projects.
- Build and develop a programme team, leading several inter-related projects through project managers.
- Oversee delivery, including development, testing, implementation of IT, processes, and training, while resolving escalated challenges.
- Build and manage a consolidated plan, track delivery milestones, manage risks and issues, and support resolution. Coordinate cross-portfolio dependencies.
- Manage an integrated programme budget, working with business leads to secure resources and oversee project budgets.
- Follow governance guidelines, chair governance forums with executives, and generate reports for senior stakeholders and regulators.
- Identify and manage risks throughout project lifecycles, escalating issues as needed.
- Ensure change initiatives are future-proofed and operationally adopted.
- Collaborate with leadership teams to align change risk management with policy principles.
- Partner across departments to maintain a clear view of the change landscape and risk profile, ensuring appropriate risk prioritization.
What you will need:
- Understanding of risks associated with your role and their impact on stakeholders.
- Experience managing complex enterprise programmes.
- Risk, compliance, or audit background with knowledge of governance and ERMF.
- Knowledge of change management practices from a risk perspective.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Understanding of technology delivery concepts and project lifecycle.
- Awareness of regulatory requirements related to compliance and consumer duty.
