Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Stock Controller responsible for organizing and maintaining store inventory.

Operations
  1. Maintain a neat, organized, and stocked selling floor and merchandise area.
  2. Receive, send, check, process, and validate deliveries from the warehouse and other points of sale.
  3. Alarms, prices, and stores stock according to company guidelines efficiently.
  4. Organize the stockroom and uphold standards.
  5. Prevent stock loss through weekly stock counts.
  6. Markdown stock during sales periods.
  7. Plan, prepare, and send biannual end-of-season returns to the warehouse.
  8. Assist with biannual stock takes.
  9. Prepare stock and support the shop floor team during floor moves or changes (for department store sales).
Customer Service
  1. Provide exceptional customer service.
  2. Assist customers and sales assistants with inquiries about stock availability.
  3. Retrieve items from the stockroom upon customer request.
  4. Handle special orders when necessary.
Teamwork
  1. Be an effective team member.
  2. Demonstrate flexibility to meet store needs.
  3. Build professional relationships that support team goals.
