Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking staff nurses for its award-winning Critical Care Unit. This role requires a caring approach and excellent communication skills to support critically ill patients within a multidisciplinary team. Previous critical care experience is desirable but not essential. The position offers comprehensive training and opportunities for professional development.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit staff nurses for ITU/HDU/POCCU.

We require staff with a genuine interest in caring for critically ill patients as part of a multidisciplinary team, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
We provide a comprehensive learning package supported by nationally recognized Critical Care competencies.
Previous Critical Care Experience is not essential but desirable.

Key responsibilities include:
Teaching & Training Responsibilities
To deputize for the Sister/Charge Nurse, manage own and team’s time effectively, act as assessor/supervisor for junior staff and students, and support appraisal processes.
Participate in redeployment and flexible staffing as needed.
Research & Audit
Contribute to research and audit data collection, evaluate research for clinical application, identify training needs, and develop a reflective practice portfolio.
Support team wellbeing and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
