CAMHS Practitioner - Blackpool - Ongoing Opportunity

Rate of Pay: £26 per hour

A Day in the Life of a CAMHS Practitioner:
As a CAMHS Practitioner, you'll play a crucial role in supporting young people with their mental health challenges. Each day is dynamic, requiring both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Engaging with young people and their families - Conduct assessments, provide therapeutic interventions, and develop care plans tailored to individual needs.
2. Community-based support - Visit patients in their homes, schools, or community settings to ensure they receive the right care in familiar environments.
3. Crisis management & risk assessments - Identify early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately, ensuring safety and stability.
4. Multi-disciplinary collaboration - Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and schools to create a holistic support network.
5. Medication administration & monitoring - Ensure adherence to prescribed treatments while evaluating progress and side effects.
6. Empowering young people - Offer coping strategies, guidance, and emotional support to help them navigate their mental health journey.
