The Role:

As a Senior Front End Engineer for the direct to consumer (DTC) Platform Team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing innovative features for our website, including e-commerce features. You'll collaborate closely with a small team in a dynamic environment to enhance our platform and to push the boundaries of web technology.

Responsibilities:

1. Leverage the latest technologies to build transformative experiences for our e-commerce website
2. Ideate, build, and iterate quickly on projects that enhance the user experience, streamline the purchasing process, and integrate AI-driven features
3. Develop tools for other teams to manage localization more efficiently
4. Optimise our website's response time and monitor the impact on users interactions with the website to identify friction points
5. Drive new features from prototype to production by collaborating closely with designers and other engineers
6. Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality and reliable software
7. Ensure the scalability and security of the platform

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence, or related fields, with proven experience in hands-on development
2. Experience working as a Senior Front End Engineer / Developer in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly adapt new technologies to our platform
3. Proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies, including frameworks like React, Angular, Node.js, and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL
4. Experience with e-commerce platforms and a strong eye for design and user experience
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
6. Understanding of best practices in web security and scalability
