Job Description:

Hooley Brown Ltd. is a boutique London-based consultancy working on export projects for British and international consumer packaged goods businesses. We provide a uniquely comprehensive support service tailored to household brands, retailers, and international scale-ups to help them prepare optimal pathways for their commercial goals and to align and localise existing products and packaging to boost global reach.

We are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to help unlock our growth plans and cashflow by managing credit, accounts payables and receivables, vendor form completions, portal submissions, and monthly progress reports.

We welcome applications from UK-based candidates with experience in agency work and QuickBooks. Experience in e-commerce or warehouse environments is a plus.

This role can be remote or based at our London Islington office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of the credit control function
  • Handling Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Maintaining the sales ledger and credit control
  • Preparing monthly sales ledger reports and providing commentary to directors
  • Preparing client monthly statements
  • Completing vendor forms and submitting via portals
  • Supporting ad hoc revenue reporting and other business functions
Skills & Experience:
  • 6-18 months experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role
  • Experience in creative agencies, e-commerce, or warehouse/distribution sectors
  • Enthusiastic about working in a rapidly growing business
  • Good communication skills and a team player
