Empowering Learning is looking to appoint a Science Teacher (Qualified or Unqualified) to work within a Secondary School in Birmingham. Start date: September 2025.

ECTs and Unqualified Teachers are welcome to apply!

Daily responsibilities include:

  1. Teaching & delivering the GCSE Science curriculum
  2. Focusing on delivering high-quality Science lessons daily
  3. Participating in SLT team meetings and contributing to key decisions within the Science Department
  4. Utilising allocated PPA time effectively
  5. Opportunities for progression with additional TLR

Candidate requirements:

  • Experience working within a Secondary School Science Department
  • Leadership experience within a school setting
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to supporting students to reach their full potential
  • Experience working with children with learning difficulties (SEN)
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
