Project Manager (Part-Time)

The Role:
As a Project Manager at Deckers Brands, you will work with various business and technology stakeholders to deliver projects for the EMEA region. This typically involves working with local and globally based teams, utilizing a mix of Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools. Initially, you will support upcoming Finance and Tax-based initiatives, with a view to expanding the scope of delivery into other areas of the business, such as Supply Chain. Flexibility and openness to change are vital as project priorities shift.
Your Impact:
- Provide overall project leadership and management of all aspects of a given project, including requirements gathering, solution design and delivery, testing, change management, and implementation.
- Structure and manage the project plan, including defining what needs to be done, how, and when with stakeholders.
- Effectively manage all project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Define and agree roles and responsibilities across the project, ensuring there is a RACI to cover key activities for members across the business and IT.
- Support business sponsors/leads to develop business cases, future Target Operating Models (TOMs), and undertake 'discovery' type activity across impacted departments.
- Complete relevant resourcing and budget documentation to support the project, in line with Deckers global processes.
- Manage third-party suppliers and their contracted project delivery services.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with business and technology stakeholders.
- Ensure business change activities are considered and incorporated into the project plan.
- Continuously evaluate project performance to ensure delivery against business objectives.
- Provide project reporting and status to senior management.
- Facilitate Steering Committee and other governance meetings.
- Ensure projects are 'closed/handed over' effectively and lessons learnt are incorporated into future projects.

Who You Are:
- Strong communication skills, negotiating, presenting, and engaging stakeholders from the outset.
- Resilience and the ability to manage ambiguity in the project.
- Confidence to raise concerns or issues to drive resolution with the appropriate governance levels.
- Ability to structure and manage your own workload, with the support of the team.
We would Love to Hear from People with:
- Experience as a Project Manager, delivering projects that are finance, tax or compliance related. This includes experience with Finance and Tax systems (e.g. Oracle EBS, Pagero or other similar AP and AR related systems).
- Project related qualification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2 Practitioner or CSM ScrumMaster.Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Experience or exposure working with both Waterfall and Agile based teams.
- Experience with various planning tools such as Microsoft Project, Monday.com, PlanView, JIRA and Excel.
- Worked with various IT delivery roles such as Business Analysts, Change Managers, Business System Analysts, Development and Integration teams and testing teams.
