SEO Manager

The SEO Manager will oversee the SEO efforts for 101greatgoals.com & freebets.com, external clients and other XLM website properties when required.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the SEO development, analysis, and performance for 101greatgoals.com & freebets.com, external clients, and the wider XLM web portfolio.
2. Work closely with the wider search team on SEO best practices and new approaches, taking into consideration the latest Google algorithm updates.
3. Conduct keyword research and implementation for the UK sports betting market.
4. Oversee technical SEO work, including a robust Core Web Vitals process.
5. Implement on-site and off-site strategies to support and guide the Content and Digital PR teams, following Google’s E.A.T guidelines.
6. Utilize various tool-sets to a high level such as Majestic, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Deepcrawl, Google Sheets, and GA.
7. Deliver concise and KPI-focused SEO reporting.
8. Ensure all SEO reports produced are of a high standard, both in terms of written content and presentation.
9. Responsible for the delivery of regular status meetings and reports.
10. Ensure advice and consultancy is clearly and concisely communicated to all stakeholders.
11. Take full responsibility for the line management of SEO Executives.

The Candidate

1. Sound knowledge of industry-standard SEO tools.
2. Enterprise-level on-site & off-site SEO strategy and implementation.
3. Competitor analysis and stakeholder reporting.
4. Experience in devising and implementing innovative SEO strategies while adhering to best practices.
5. Experience in executing and driving strategies forward by building excellent internal relationships and proactively seeking opportunities to exceed expectations.
6. Expertise in all aspects of organic search, striving to continually develop personal knowledge and help nurture the skill sets of the wider Search team.
7. Proven line management experience of a team of SEO Executives.
8. A solid understanding of HTML, Site Architecture, and enterprise-level SEO.
