Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose is to provide general personnel support to the staff of Eastern Shore Hospital Center (ESHC), HR staff, and the public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: None.
SELECTION PROCESS
Applicants who meet the minimum (and selective) qualifications will be considered for further evaluation. BENEFITS
Contractual employees working for an agency covered under the State Employee and Retiree Health and Welfare Benefits Program, with a current contract, and working 30 or more hours per week (or an average of 130 hours per month), may be eligible for subsidized health benefits for themselves and dependents. Employees pay 25% of premiums for medical and prescription coverage; the State subsidizes the remaining 75%. Additional options include dental, accidental death and dismemberment, and life insurance, for which the full premium is paid by the employee. Leave accrual is available after 120 days of work in a 12-month period, at a rate of one hour per 30 hours worked, up to 40 hours annually.
