Job description

Are you an ACA/ACCA-qualified Accountant looking for the next step up? An opportunity has arisen with my client who is looking for an Associate Director to become a key component in their organisation.

Position Overview

As an Associate Director, you will play a crucial role in driving the practice’s growth, enhancing profitability, and delivering exceptional value to clients. You will align office goals with the organisation’s vision, provide thought leadership, and oversee service delivery to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Define and implement strategies for revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  2. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  3. Perform final reviews of client files to maintain high standards of work.
  4. Promote the practice’s products and services to attract new clients.
  5. Recruit, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, setting performance goals and providing guidance.
  6. Manage a client portfolio generating up to £1M in revenue.
  7. Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with regulations.
  8. Share best practices across the organisation to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  1. ACA / ACCA qualified with over 5 years experience.
  2. Experience managing a client portfolio of circa 100 clients.
  3. Strong experience in client-facing meetings.
  4. Proficient in statutory accounts preparation (FRS 102), UK tax compliance.
  5. Experience in company tax planning.
  6. Forward-thinking mindset and proven ability to inspire teams.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  8. Effective communication skills.
