Must be eligible for SC clearance (BPSS clearance acceptable initially)
Must possess a valid CSCS/ECS card prior to starting
Level 3 qualification appropriate to trade
Due to the secure nature of the work, candidates must have lived & worked in the UK for a minimum of 5 years
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated EC&I Technician to join our client's team for a 12-month contract in the Burghfield area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and preparation of works including production of RAMS
Carry out work in accordance with the work packs and best practice and applicable trade/legal standards
Comply with any health and safety requirements of the work pack or work area
Report any defects, damage, safety hazards or other problems to their line manager
Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation or related field
BS 7671:2008 17th Edition Wiring Regs
BS 2391-52 Inspection & Testing
Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in EC&I roles
Strong technical knowledge of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
