EC&I Technician
Thetford
£35,000 – £41,000 per annum, plus company vehicle, on-call allowance, and opportunities for overtime.



Outsource UK’s client are a multinational chemical bulk liquid storage and distribution firm, who are looking to hire an Electrical Technician to be based at their COMAH site in Thetford.
Overview of the role:

• Carry out routine maintenance work to terminal plant and equipment.
• Carry out fault finding and subsequent repairs to electrical equipment.
• Fully support all electrical inspection work, and ensure timely completion of any faults found during inspection or to ensure outstanding work is placed onto the maintenance software for remedial repairs at an available date.
• Assist with continuous improvement activities and initiatives.

It would be great if you possess some of the following skills:

• The successful candidate will have completed a relevant apprenticeship with associated qualifications, including COMPEX certification and credentials related to safety management and maintenance control on an Upper Tier COMAH site.
• They will have experience maintaining SCADA/DCS systems, hold relevant electrical qualifications, understand isolation procedures, and work safely on low-voltage (LV) systems.
• A proven track record in a similar role, ideally within a COMAH Upper Tier environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving PLC/DCS issues, with confidence in navigating control systems, is highly desirable.
