Job summary
Progressive EC&I Project Engineer role in the UK offers remote working with occasional travel to the Derby office and customer sites. You will lead EC&I and instrumentation projects within highly automated manufacturing environments, delivering on time and within budget.
Responsibilities include URS/FDS development, coordinating electrical and instrumentation activities, supplier management, and ensuring successful FAT/SAT and project handovers across UK and international sites.
Qualifications
- Experience in EC&I, controls, automation or electrical engineering (EC&I, Controls, Automation)
- Delivered projects in manufacturing or process industries
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Managing EC&I aspects of capital engineering projects
- Developing URS and Functional Design Specifications (FDS)
- Coordinating electrical, controls and instrumentation activities
- Supporting automation and process control system implementation
- Managing engineering contractors and equipment suppliers
- Client stakeholder engagement and technical leadership
- Site surveys, FAT/SAT, installation and commissioning
