Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an EC&I Engineer specialising in LV distribution for a 12-month contract in Birmingham. The role offers remote working with just 2 days per fortnight on site, and targets complex process plant projects.

You will produce and review electrical design deliverables, specify LV switchgear and transformers, size cables per BS 7671, and cover earthing and lightning protection. The contract is outside IR35 and paid at £55 per hour.

Qualifications

• EC&I Engineer with strong LV power distribution experience.
• Experience delivering electrical design deliverables for LV switchgear and distribution panels.
• Proficient in sizing cables and protective devices per BS 7671.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review electrical design deliverables such as single-line diagrams and load schedules.
• Specify LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs and distribution panels.
• Size cables and protective devices in line with BS 7671 and industry standards.
• Carry out earthing and lightning protection design.

• Sizing cables and protective devices in line with BS 7671 and relevant industry standards
• Carrying out or reviewing earthing and lightning protection design
