Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking an EC&I Engineer to support the delivery of complex projects in a highly regulated environment. You will review, verify and update engineering drawings and documentation to reflect installed EC&I systems and ensure compliance with design requirements.

Working with multidisciplinary teams, you will perform site surveys and inspections, facilitate as-built updates and contribute to design reviews while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in EC&I engineering within regulated environments.
• Strong site survey and updating drawings/documentation experience.
• Ability to interpret installations against designs/specifications.
• Knowledge of QA, document control and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EC&I engineering activities in line with scope, schedule, cost and quality.
• Review and update drawings and documentation from detailed design to as‑built.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to verify installations against designs.
• Maintain technical documentation, records and design deliverables.
• Ensure configuration control and document management across the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical assessments.
• Promote compliance with standards, processes and regulations.
• Identify risks and implement appropriate controls and mitigations.
• Support health, safety and environmental practices on site.

Job description

The Opportunity

We are looking for an EC&I Engineer to support the delivery of complex engineering projects within a highly regulated environment. This role will focus on reviewing, verifying and updating engineering documentation and drawings to reflect installed systems, ensuring compliance with design requirements and applicable standards.

Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will play a key role in inspections, surveys and design verification activities, helping to ensure systems are accurately documented and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Deliver EC&I engineering activities in line with project scope, schedule, cost and quality requirements.
• Review and update engineering documentation and drawings from detailed design through to as-built status.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys of EC&I systems to verify installation against design requirements and manufacturing drawings.
• Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation, engineering records and design deliverables.
• Ensure effective configuration control and document management processes are applied throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to design reviews and technical assessments.
• Promote compliance with engineering standards, quality processes and industry regulations.
• Identify and communicate technical risks, ensuring appropriate controls and mitigation measures are implemented.
• Support safe working practices and contribute to a positive health, safety and environmental culture.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

• Experience in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) engineering and design.
• Strong experience with as-built activities, including site surveys, inspections and updating engineering drawings/documentation.
• Ability to interpret and verify installations against engineering designs and technical specifications.
• Good understanding of engineering design principles and safety requirements.
• Experience working within regulated engineering environments.
• Familiarity with quality assurance, document control and configuration management processes.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of relevant engineering software and applications.

It’s great if you also have the following

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards professional registration, would be advantageous.
• Membership of a relevant professional engineering institution is desirable.
