A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking an EC&I Technician (Electrical) to join their team in Haydock. The successful candidate will assemble control panels, work on electrical and mechanical systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications

• Time served electrical technician with relevant qualifications.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant environment.
• Ability to safely install control panels and systems.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and test control panels and machine wiring.
• Collaborate with engineers on assembly process.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards and compliance.

Skills

Ability to assemble, wire, crimp and test control panels

Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems

17th Edition - City and Guilds Qualification 2382-12

Proficiency with Swagelock products

PLC knowledge

Education

C&G qualifications or equivalent

HNC/HND level in a relevant electrical discipline
