Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (EPLAN) for a 3-6 month contract in West Yorkshire. You will own EC&I design for automated pharmaceutical machinery, producing electrical schematics, BOMs, and panel builds.

You'll work closely with a design team to deliver high-quality documentation and ensure compliance in a regulated environment. Rate £47.00–£50.00 per hour, DOE, outside IR35, immediate start.

Qualifications

• EC&I design using EPLAN is required.
• Knowledge of fans, valves, valve sets, sensors and instrumentation.
• Experience with automated machinery in a regulated environment.
• Ability to produce high-quality design documentation.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

• Produce key design documentation, including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and related documents.
• Develop electrical and pneumatic designs, create electrical schematics in EPLAN and compile BOMs.
• Oversee the panel build process and ensure panels are manufactured to the approved design.
• Peer-check colleagues' schematics and design documentation for accuracy and consistency across projects.
