Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in West Yorkshire seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer (EPLAN) for a 3-6 month contract. You will own EC&I design for pharmaceutical machinery, delivering electrical and pneumatic schematics, BOMs and panel builds.

You will produce FDS and design documents, peer-check colleagues, and ensure designs meet regulatory standards. Outside IR35, DOE hourly rate £47-£50, immediate start.

Qualifications

• Strong background in EC&I design using EPLAN.
• Experience with automated machinery in regulated environments.
• Ability to produce high‑quality design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Produce design documentation including FDS and related documents.
• Develop electrical and pneumatic designs and schematics in EPLAN.
• Compile BOMs for each build and oversee the panel build.
• Peer-check colleagues' schematics and design documentation for quality.
• Collaborate with build team to ensure panels meet approved designs.
