A leading engineering services company is seeking an EC&I Engineering Manager to join their team on a contracting or permanent basis. This hybrid role, focused on the nuclear sector, requires strong project management skills and knowledge of relevant legislation. Candidates must be sole British nationals with established SC clearance and the right to work in the UK.

Job description

EC&I Engineering Manager

Our client is currently looking for a EC&I Engineering Manager, the position will be on a contracting basis or a permanent staff basis. The position will be working on a hybrid basis with a 4 day working week. The work will be related to the Nuclear Sector and will require candidates that are sole British Nationals.

The client will be looking for an Engineering manager that will support the Project Manager in the preparation, monitoring and control of project schedules, identifying engineering activities, budget and resources to implement engineering delivery strategies.

The right candidate will be working closely with the engineering compliance and capability lead to support the identification of competencies and competency levels for defined engineering roles to ensure that they align with business objectives. You will be responsible for maintaining proficient knowledge of the machinery directive, LOLER, PUWER, CDM and other applicable legislation, regulations and standards.

Due to the work that the client has, the correct candidates will have to be a sole British national and will require SC clearance and the Right to work already established within the UK.
