Core responsibilities include:
Overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operation of SEND provision.
Leading on EHCPs, access arrangements, and intervention planning.
Supporting and mentoring teaching and support staff in differentiation and inclusive practices.
Liaising with external agencies to ensure high-quality, joined-up support.
Tracking and evaluating the impact of provision on student progress and wellbeing.
Candidate profile:
QTS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it).
A proven track record of working effectively with students with a range of needs.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
A deep belief in inclusive education and the value of diverse learners.
