Senior Accountant

They are looking for an ambitious candidate who is comfortable managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing a team of juniors and trainees. Client Manager Job Overview

1. Managing a varied portfolio of clients, managing client relationships and expectations, serving as first point of contact.
2. Reviewing year-end accounts from junior members of staff.
3. Providing support and training to junior members of staff, where required. Supervising and nurturing their development.
4. Preparation and finalisation of year-end accounts.
5. CT600 preparation and finalisation.
6. Supporting clients with personal tax planning and guidance of optimal extraction from limited companies as and when required.
7. Supporting directors with any ad hoc tasks.

Client Manager Job Requirements

1. Well suited to someone who is AAT or ACCA qualified or part qualified. Candidates qualified by experience will also be considered.
2. A minimum of 5 years accountancy practice experience.
3. Experience in managing a portfolio of clients, and experience in accounts and tax review.
4. Able to commute to the Oldham office.
5. No requirement for visa sponsorship.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
