Pool Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Questech Recruitment have an amazing opportunity to join the team at one of our clients as a Pool Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer at their site in Exeter.

The Salary:
£51,051 per annum, plus night shift allowance, plus a weekend supplement for Saturday (£51 per attendance) and Sunday (£102 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable.

The Shifts:
The role will cover early, late and night shifts as below:

1. Days: Mon 06:00- 15:00 / Tues 07:30 - 16:30 / Wed 07:30 - 15:30 / Thurs and Fri 07:30 - 14:30
2. Earlies: Mon - Fri 06:00 - 14:15 / Sat 06:00 - 18:30 / Sun 06:00 - 18:00
3. Lates: Mon - Fri 14:00 - 22:00
4. Nights: Mon - Fri 21:30 - 06:15

Shift attendance equates to 40 hours per week - Full time.

Please Note: As a Pool Engineer you will be required to cover an element of sickness and annual leave across the sites shift rotation system, with some degree of voluntary flexibility to meet the businesses 24/7 operational needs on occasion, including voluntary overtime coverage and occasional shift pattern flexibility.

The Role:

1. Perform maintenance tasks, including preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance
2. Performing continuous improvement activities
3. Provide effective and efficient support to the Engineering Manager, Maintenance Team Leader and Engineering Team Coaches, completion of end of shift reports, fault logging and data entry
4. Identify the root cause of automation breakdowns and prioritize corrective actions to meet operational processing requirements
5. Monitor equipment performance and improve automation outputs in collaboration with operational stakeholders
6. Identifying and working on Continuous Improvement projects, conception to implementation ownership, for machinery on the site
7. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team to achieve common goals

About you:
As an experienced multi-skilled engineer you'll be qualified in electrical and mechanical engineering (minimum ONC Electrical Engineering / NVQ Level 3 - or equivalent). Understanding Health & Safety legislation, you'll have first-hand experience of maintaining automation equipment, along with a flexible approach and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.

You are required to have a full UK driving license as on occasion you may be asked to travel to other sites.
