Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts dedicated to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and protection 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working within a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, regional control, and field resources.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with all levels of seniority.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
