Position: Assistant Estimator - Civil Engineering

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + package

The Role

As an Assistant Estimator, you'll be an integral part of the pre-construction team, supporting the preparation of accurate and competitive tenders for civil engineering projects. Based from the Bristol office, you'll work on water infrastructure projects that shape the future of the region's critical assets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior estimators to prepare cost estimates for tenders.
2. Analyse project specifications, drawings, and contracts to determine project scope.
3. Engage with supply chain partners to source quotations and build cost breakdowns.
4. Assist in preparing risk assessments, value engineering opportunities, and project schedules.
5. Maintain tender documentation and ensure compliance with company and client standards.
6. Contribute to pre-bid and handover meetings, ensuring a clear understanding of project requirements.
