About the Role
This role involves working within our Clinical Team alongside the Family Solutions Service (FSS), which supports vulnerable children and their families to reduce safeguarding concerns and improve outcomes for children aged 0-19. As a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist, you will lead the Clinical Team's contribution in one of three localities, managing a team comprising a family therapist and a psychological practitioner. This position offers extensive opportunities to enhance your clinical skills through diverse casework, including working with families, children, and young people with complex needs. You will utilize and develop a range of intervention models such as systemic approaches, Video Interaction Guidance, Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT), trauma-informed care, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. You will be encouraged to innovate and extend evidence-based practices, contributing to research and publications, building on our existing work published in journals and chapters on safety and protection in residential children’s homes.
We welcome discussions about specific skills and experiences you wish to develop further in this role.
