Job description

Are you a skilled and telehandler driver looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? We have an excellent opening to join our team on a busy new build housing site in the Skelmanthorpe area. This is a fantastic chance to secure consistent work on a significant development.

About the Role:

As our telehandler, you will be an integral part of the site operations, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials across the new build housing project. Your duties will include:

• Operating the telehandler to lift, move, and place a variety of materials including bricks, timber, scaffolding, and general supplies.
• Ensuring materials are delivered promptly and safely to various trades and work areas.
• Assisting with the safe loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Performing daily machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure operational safety.
• Strictly adhering to all site health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintaining clear communication with site management and other operatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a telehandler driver on busy construction sites, ideally within the new build housing sector.
• A valid CPCS ticket is an essential requirement for this role.
• Excellent operational skills with a strong awareness of site surroundings and safety protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently and reliably, both independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and site productivity.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Full UK driving licence.
