Pharmacy Technician
Position: Pharmacy Technician
Location: Harlow
Salary: Up to £34,000
Contract: Permanent, Full time, Hybrid

MediTalent is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic team at a leading healthcare provider based in Harlow. If you're passionate about patient care, leadership, and professional growth, this is the perfect opportunity to take your career to the next level.

As the Pharmacy Technician, you'll work closely with the Pharmacy Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and pharmaceutical care. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on patient outcomes while leading and mentoring a team of skilled pharmacy professionals.

Requirements:

  1. NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
  2. Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  3. Oncology experience/BOPA/SACTS is desirable
  4. Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred but not essential)
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  6. Commitment to high standards of patient care and safety

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the pharmacy team
  2. Ensure accurate dispensing and distribution of medications
  3. Manage inventory and oversee stock levels
  4. Maintain compliance with GPhC standards and regulatory guidelines
  5. Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve medication-related issues
  6. Drive improvements and ensure quality governance in the pharmacy
