Station Systems Technician - Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) (On-site, United Kingdom)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions supporting the nation’s critical infrastructure. Work alongside technical experts in a high-performing environment, performing complex and vital tasks.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:
  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
  • Perform planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults.
  • Utilize field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data.
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions.
Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. Experience or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:
  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
