Renewables Estimator

Our client, a renewable heating and ventilation company based in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Renewables Estimator. They specialize in carbon-saving solutions, offering design, installation, supply, and support for renewable energy systems. The company is part of a larger group with over 100 staff across 6 UK sites.

The role requires working from the Wallingford office and attending sites across the region.

Renewables Estimator Responsibilities

1. Providing accurate estimates for air source heat pumps, MVHR, and underfloor heating systems.
2. Assessing project plans, allocating labor and material costs.
3. Attending site meetings to determine project scope and analyze specifications and drawings.
4. Assisting in the design and specification of renewable energy projects.
5. Maintaining company records and a comprehensive database of cost information.
6. Discussing client requirements and creating initial concepts for the project delivery team.
7. Updating the wider team, clients, and vendors on project progress.

Renewables Estimator Requirements

1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Renewable Energy estimation or design.
3. Experience with specifications, design, and drawings for renewable energy systems.
4. Industry-relevant qualifications such as a BSc (Hons) in Renewable Energy (desirable).
5. Reside within a commutable distance of Wallingford.

Remuneration and Benefits

1. Salary range: £35,000 - £55,000.
