Job description

We are currently recruiting for 2 Work Coaches (EO2 Grade) for our client based in Portadown.

Rate of pay: £14.50

Duration: At least until 31/12/2025

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Main Duties:

The purpose of the Work Coach is to assist claimants in preparing for work, securing employment, maintaining sustained employment, progressing, and becoming more financially independent.

You will use effective coaching techniques, conduct Work Focused Interviews, and engage with claimants online to facilitate their entry into work. In addition to face-to-face interviews, you will utilize various channels, with an emphasis on digital services, to support claimants and their families in achieving financial independence through employment. You will motivate and challenge claimants or groups of claimants to ensure all interactions are work-focused.

Please note that full attendance is required during a 5-week mandatory training course, with at least one day of travel to another site. No leave will be permitted during this period.

Essential Criteria:

- Proof of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English, and 2 A Levels in separate subjects.
