Are you a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Electrician looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our client's growing team in Darlington. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality maintenance and have a strong background in electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
2. Carry out routine inspections and checks on critical systems and equipment, identifying issues before they arise.
3. Perform minor maintenance on HVAC and plumbing systems.
4. Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment and systems in commercial environments, responding to both scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdowns.
5. Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to effectively maintain and repair systems.
6. Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards and relevant regulations.
7. Complete all maintenance documentation, logs, and reports, ensuring all PPM and reactive work is accurately recorded.
8. Collaborate with site management and colleagues to ensure seamless operational continuity across multiple locations.
9. Respond efficiently to urgent breakdowns, minimising downtime and ensuring operations are not disrupted.

Requirements

1. Electrical Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 and 18th edition City and Guilds
2. Proven experience in electrical maintenance with solid working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
3. Full UK driving licence.
4. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Familiarity with compliance and safety standards in a maintenance role.
