Job description

Wayman Group is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join a stunning independent school located in Camden. This position is set to start in April and offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who is eager to make a positive impact in a high-achieving environment.

As a Psychology Teacher at our prestigious school, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students in both primary and secondary levels. Responsibilities
  1. Plan and deliver high-quality psychology lessons to primary and secondary level students
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and wellbeing
  3. Assess student progress through a variety of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback and support
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the psychology curriculum
  5. Supervise and mentor students during practical experiments and research projects
  6. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in psychology education and implement innovative teaching strategies
  7. Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Minimum Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  3. Proven experience teaching psychology at the primary or secondary level
  4. Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum and assessment frameworks
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  7. Strong organizational and time management skills
  8. Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
