Job description

WORK OPTION: In Office

This is a temporary position with an expected duration not to exceed ten months.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for quality assurance of NBA digital products across multiple platforms, including mobile applications, web, and connected devices. The Project Employee, DOC, will monitor live NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, and NBA 2K League games on these platforms, escalating issues through proper channels. Additionally, the employee will evaluate and report on digital offerings from the sporting landscape, both domestically and internationally.

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor live NBA, WNBA, NBA G League, and NBA 2K games across digital products.
  2. Execute incident management procedures, including issue intake, triage, mitigation, and stakeholder communication.
  3. Provide real-time support to NBA team operational representatives and stakeholders for live and VOD digital access initiatives.
  4. Generate reports supporting new initiatives and features for NBA team digital services.
  5. Use live game operations tools to assess stream quality and perform manual overrides to mitigate issues.
  6. Ensure quality control across platforms including web, mobile web, iOS, Android, and connected devices.
  7. Address business issues related to NBA digital products, collaborating with internal teams.
  8. Research new digital technologies for innovation opportunities.
  9. Evaluate and report on non-NBA digital offerings worldwide.
  10. Produce actionable insights to support product and content decisions.
  11. Manage data-driven research projects and create performance reports.
  12. Monitor social media and message boards, reporting fan feedback.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in report and presentation creation.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe, Tableau).
  • Passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences for sports fans.
  • Ability to propose ideas and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with incident management/customer support tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Active user of digital products across platforms.
  • Knowledge of the digital sports landscape and passion for basketball.
  • Willingness to learn multiple digital products.
  • Strong research, multi-tasking, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Education:

Bachelor's degree required.

Salary Range:

$32.00 per hour.
