Trainee Electronics Engineer

Hourly Rate: £12.66

Working Hours: 8am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday & 8am - 4pm Friday

Location: Lutterworth

Employment Type: Permanent

Summary
  • Our established South Leicestershire-based Electrical Engineering client is recruiting for Trainee Electronic Engineers on a full-time contract.
  • This role involves working a day shift from Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.30pm, with a 4pm finish on Friday.
  • Starting at £12.66 per hour, with opportunities to train and upskill for pay increases.
The Employer
  • This company specializes in electronic manufacturing and installation of control panels for commercial applications.
The Job Responsibilities
  • Working on the shop floor, learning electrical assembly trade skills.
  • Manufacturing control panels and circuit boards.
  • Crimping, loom wiring, and assembling panels of various sizes.
  • Soldering and working on low-level PCBs when required.
  • Picking parts, labeling, screwing, and using basic hand and air tools.
  • Working from schematics and adhering to health & safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Full training will be provided.
  • Additional duties as instructed by team leaders or supervisors.
