Job Description

We are seeking a candidate to coordinate Capillary Electrophoresis, iCE, CD, and MFI instrument maintenance and qualification. The role involves serving as a technical expert for both instrument hardware and software, supporting new and existing systems through installation, configuration, validation, procedure development and review, training, troubleshooting, and software/firmware management.

Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Applying GMP/GLP standards in all responsibilities
  • Promoting the company vision
  • Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality
  • Assisting validation personnel with validation approaches for new technologies, providing technical and regulatory support
  • Researching instrumentation using vendor information, manuals, industry resources, and peer collaboration
  • Collaborating with validation group to write validation protocols, test scripts, and related documentation, ensuring GMP compliance and thoroughness
  • Assisting in writing and performing 21 CFR Part 11 evaluations and testing for computerized laboratory systems
  • Coordinating installation and validation testing, documenting results, and assessing vendor documentation for compliance
  • Creating procedures for new instrumentation, including operation, maintenance, and calibration/qualification; updating procedures as needed
  • Performing monthly maintenance and annual qualification activities on instruments
  • Troubleshooting instrumentation issues and involving vendors when necessary
  • Providing operational training and participating in audits, developing responses and corrective actions
  • Ensuring all activities are conducted safely and efficiently
  • Performing additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field is preferred, but not required. No previous laboratory experience is necessary.
